En af hendes pointer er, at der ikke er et l\u00f8digt videnskabeligt bel\u00e6g for at miskreditere fx r\u00f8dt k\u00f8d eller fede f\u00f8devarer i forhold til sundhed, men at det er sukker og kulhydrater, som er sorteper. I udsendelsen gav Nina Teicholz indtryk af, at hun havde l\u00e6st stort set alt videnskabelig litteratur af v\u00e6rdi inden for human ern\u00e6ring, og det undrede mig derfor, at hendes udsagn var meget sort\/hvide. Mit indtryk er ellers, at der endnu er en hel del videnskabelig kontrovers omkring sundhedsv\u00e6rdien ved forskellige typer kost, bl.a. kost der favoriserer store m\u00e6ngder fedt frem for kulhydrat. Emnet er givetvis ikke f\u00e6rdigdebatteret i videnskabelige kredse. Joe Rogan gjorde ikke rigtig noget for at udfordre hende, og spurgte ikke ind til studier, der kommer med konklusioner, som afviger fra hendes budskab.<\/p>\n<p>Efter udsendelsen sad jeg tilbage med et indtryk af at Nina Teicholz var fanget i en f\u00e6lde, som hun selv beskylder mange ern\u00e6ringsforskere at v\u00e6re fanget i: at forf\u00f8lge data mod en forudindtaget konklusion frem for at lade de forh\u00e5ndenv\u00e6rende data lede vejen. Her n\u00e6vnes flere eksempler p\u00e5 <em>cherry picking<\/em> af fors\u00f8gsdata og p\u00e5, at konklusioner er fejlciterede. Det mest bem\u00e6rkelsesv\u00e6rdige er imidlertid, at bloggen kan fremh\u00e6ve talrige eksempler p\u00e5 tekstpassager eller kildeangivelser, der er totalt sammenfaldende med en anden bog, der udkom i 2007; <strong><em>Good Calories, Bad Calories<\/em><\/strong>, skrevet af Gary Taubes. Set udefra er der s\u00e5 mange eksempler at Gary Taubes nok med rette kunne beskylde hende for at plagiere hans v\u00e6rk. Det viser sig faktisk, at Taubes tilsyneladende ikke ser noget problem i at Nina Teicholz har l\u00e5nt nogle passager fra hans bog (if\u00f8lge et <a href=\"https:\/\/thebigfatsurprise.com\/response-critics\/\">indl\u00e6g<\/a> Nina Teicholz publicerede som svar p\u00e5 kritikken fra The Science of Nutrition). Selvom de skulle have lavet en eller anden aftale om dette p\u00e5 forh\u00e5nd, ville det v\u00e6re p\u00e5 sin plads at kreditere Taubes bog, s\u00e5 det tydeligt fremgik, at her blev der fisket fra en anden forfatters konklusion. Dette er s\u00e6rligt relevant da The Science of Nutrition viser eksempler p\u00e5, at nogle af disse f\u00e6lles afsnit indeholder identiske fejltolkninger af data.<\/p>\n<p>Jeg vil ikke g\u00e5 dybere ind i detaljer om kritik af Nina Teicholz bog og holdninger i dette indl\u00e6g, men holde mig til at bruge hendes eksempel til at pointere, at selvom det er v\u00e6sentligt at f\u00e5 rusket op i at gamle sandheder ikke n\u00f8dvendigvis ogs\u00e5 er sandheder i dag i videnskabens verden &#8211; s\u00e5 g\u00f8r det ikke st\u00f8rre gavn at male det ny verdensbillede med \u00e9n enkelt farve n\u00e5r det faktisk kr\u00e6ver talrige nuancer.<\/p>\n<p>Ved at klikke p\u00e5 nogle af de links, der er i teksten eller google &#8220;nina teicholz&#8221; og &#8220;controversy&#8221; er det synligt p\u00e5 diverse indl\u00e6g, at debatten omkring indtag af fedt vs kulhydrater i forhold til vores sundhed endnu ikke er helt afklaret.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<div class=\"mh-excerpt\"><p>Udover at v\u00e6re stand-up komiker og UFC-kommentator har Joe Rogan ogs\u00e5 sin egen podcast, som efterh\u00e5nden er blevet rigtig popul\u00e6r.
