{"id":5051,"date":"2025-12-23T23:35:06","date_gmt":"2025-12-23T23:35:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/seniorfitness.blog\/?p=5051"},"modified":"2025-12-23T23:35:06","modified_gmt":"2025-12-23T23:35:06","slug":"c-reaktivt-protein-og-risiko-for-hjerte-kar-sygdom","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/seniorfitness.blog\/?p=5051","title":{"rendered":"C-reaktivt protein og risiko for hjerte-kar sygdom"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Som det bl.a. kan l\u00e6ses i et tidligere <a href=\"https:\/\/seniorfitness.blog\/?p=4926\">indl\u00e6g<\/a> her p\u00e5 bloggen s\u00e5 er der stadig diskussioner om, hvor betydende kolesteroltallet er i forhold til risikoen for at udvikle hjerte-kar sygdom.<\/p>\n<p>I nogle kredse argumenteres der for, at en blodm\u00e5ling med et h\u00f8jt kolesteroltal ikke n\u00f8dvendigvis er ensbetydende med forh\u00f8jet risiko for atherosklerose og hjerte-kar sygdom. P\u00e5 den baggrund anses det, at hvis karv\u00e6ggene er i topform g\u00f8r LDL-partikler ikke skade. Det er f\u00f8rst n\u00e5r de store karv\u00e6gges bekl\u00e6dning (endothelet) tager skade kan LDL-partikler tr\u00e6nge ind i v\u00e6ggen og initiere en inflammatorisk kaskade.<\/p>\n<p>Det er af denne \u00e5rsag, at jeg fandt en nylig artikel p\u00e5 Science Alert interessant: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencealert.com\/one-protein-is-a-better-predictor-of-heart-disease-than-cholesterol\">One protein is a better predictor of heart disease than cholesterol<\/a>. Artiklens titel tager nok lige munden lidt for fuld i forhold til aktuel viden, og selve artiklen skal ogs\u00e5 lige rettes til i forhold til nogle gr\u00e6nsev\u00e6rdier &#8211; men den indeholder en interessant pointe: at et m\u00e5l for kroppens niveau af inflammation kan v\u00e6re et vigtigt fingerpeg om ens risiko for at udvikle hjerte-kar sygdom.<\/p>\n<p>Blodets indhold af C-reaktivt protein (CRP) giver et generelt m\u00e5l for kroppens status i forhold til inflammation. Ved en virus- eller bakterieinfektion vil blodets indhold af CRP typisk stige kraftigt, som f\u00f8lge af leverens produktion af proteinet. Ved anden v\u00e6vsskade kan der ogs\u00e5 m\u00e5les for\u00f8get CRP.<\/p>\n<p>CRP-niveauet i blodet kan komme op over 200 mg\/L ved en akut bakterieinfektion, mens normalv\u00e6rdierne hos en sund og rask person vil v\u00e6re &lt;1 mg\/L.<\/p>\n<p>Hvis man f\u00e5r foretaget en m\u00e5ling hos l\u00e6gen vil man normalt f\u00e5 oplyst, hvorvidt m\u00e5lingen ligger under en gr\u00e6nsev\u00e6rdi p\u00e5 3 mg\/L; hvis den er over dette kan det v\u00e6re et tegn p\u00e5 kronisk inflammation, og alts\u00e5 et r\u00f8dt flag i forhold til risiko for hjerte-kar sygdom.<\/p>\n<p>Faktisk ser det ud til, at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jacc.org\/doi\/10.1016\/j.jacc.2025.08.047\">American College of Cardiology<\/a> er begyndt at anse v\u00e6rdier allerede p\u00e5 &gt;2 mg\/L som tegn p\u00e5 moderat \u00f8get risiko for hjerte-karsygdom.
